Over £20,000 raised for Yorkhill - 10/10/08

At Scotkart we get asked by many a charity organisation to contribute, either by staging events or supplying some form of a contribution, when we recently approached by Abigail Stein on hosting a night we where more than happy to accomodate for one of Scotkart's favourite charities, the Yorkhill Childrens Foundation.

A fantastic night was held on Wednesday the 8th October 2008 where 13 teams all raised enough money to get themselves on the starting grid, one team even raised in excess of £7000 ALONE after which a hard fought race ensued with a marvellous turn out of spectators cheering and booing in true panto style before the chequered flag and the winners of the night where finally won after completing a gruelling 185 laps, six laps ahead of the competition.
