Cash For Kids Grand Prix raises almost £6,000! - 08/12/09 |
A big THANK YOU to all the teams who entered our 18th annual Cash For Kids Grand Prix last night, and raise almost £6,000 for this great local charity. Cash For Kids is the nominated Charity that we support and we give the track and facilities for free for this event - so every penny raised goes straight to deserving kids and their families in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. 12 teams entered the Le-Mans 2 hour team Challenge, including two from Radio Clyde . An allgirls team called McGuires Misfits led by Suzie McGuire, and including Lorraine from the news team and Adele from Traffic. Competing against them were George Bowies team 'Bowies Boys' including presenters Colin Kelly, Kevin Cameron and Gary Marshal from Clyde 2. As soon as we recieve the photos from Paul McClusky at www.machinecreativestudios.com who kindly donated his services for free, we will post a link to a FLIKR album.
