HOW TO PLAY

Getting Started
The game begins with a briefing, this is to allow new players to understand the game rules and the equipment used.
The game rules are there to enable everyone to experience a safe and more enjoyable game.
You are then escorted to the pack room where you will be shown how to put your pack on safely and properly. It is very easy to put your pack on backwards as the pack rooms are often quite dark.
The coloured lights on the pack and gun indicate what team the player is on and also work as targets. Each team has different colours on the pack and gun, the colours currently in use are Red, Blue and Yellow . The game marshal will inform you on the game type that is about to be played. Usually: - Team or Solo but on special members nights this can be one of any number of scenario games.

Targets and Scoring
Tagging your opponents can be done using targets situated on the chest, back, shoulders. If a player is tagged in the chest or back, that players pack will power down for 6 seconds, during which time all the lights on that players pack shut down. A tagged player cannot be tagged during this power down, nor can he tag anyone else.
If a player is tagged in either one of the shoulders or the gun, the players pack will power down for 3 seconds.
During this time, the player can be tagged, but cannot tag back.
Three tags to the shoulders or gun also causes a 6 second power down.
In addition to this, when a player tags a team-mate, there is a 50 point deduction regardless of where the team-mate was tagged.

Bases
Each base contains a small box (approx. 66 cm) with green and red blinking coloured lights. To deactivate an enemy base the player must tag the blinking green lights three times. When the first shot hits the base station, a loud siren will sound, warning nearby players that a base is being attacked.
In many game modes, the lights also starts to blink, which indicates that the base station will soon start tagging nearby players, so staying too near to the base is not recommended. After 30 seconds, the base can again be deactivated.
Deactivating an enemy base is usually worth 1000 points. If the base station tags a player, then there is a 250 point deduction. Every player in the team can deactivate each of opposing enemy bases once.

General Game Rules
No running, No climbing, No covering the pack sensors and No physical contact
A marshal watches the game and checks that the rules are being followed. If someone is not following the rules, a penalty of 20 seconds or more can be given. The player may also be given a score deduction of 1000 points.
In extreme cases, the player can be removed from the game. This causes the player to have his or her game ended immediately, and lose all of their points.
There is always a referee during tournament events.
In general, following the rules assures that everyone can enjoy the game.

End of The Game
When the game ends, all packs and base stations will simultaneously emit a sound effect for three seconds and the guns will cease to function. At this time, all players proceed to the exit. When all of the players have returned to the laser store and removed their packs, the computer calculates the individual points for all teams and players. A monitor shows each players score and shot accuracy. A more specific score can be viewed from a personal score sheet. The score sheet contains a large amount of data on the game played, including team scores, average scores and personal scores with each shot described: where you hit your enemies, and where you were tagged.

NOW OPEN -  the U.Ks first all weather Tournament Paintball Field at ScotKart, Cambuslang!
See all the action on You Tube now: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ky69vZSJ-gI
Come and enjoy one of the most exciting Paintball experiences available.
Tournament style paintball has become the most popular form of paintball in America, where players like the non- stop action, fast paced games, and good team play essential for victory.
It's a world away from hiding in a bush for 15 minutes in the hope somebody will walk past, or squelching about in the mud in the woods. In a Tournament game your opponents are always in view, and the games are very, very fast!
The 24,000sq ft field ( full size Tournament field) is covered with artificial grass so you can forget about mud - it's the same turf that the Professional teams play on, and we have imported it from America. It's all floodlit so you can play in the evenings, and we are using the same inflable bunkers as they use in the profesional like X Ball and Millenium, which allows us to change the layout every week.
Games for larger groups will be played on a league basis - if you have a group of 30 for example you will be divided into teams of 5 players. Each team will play the other 5  teams at least twice (10 games each), earning ponts as they go, with a Grand final for the top 2 teams.
Smaller groups will play X Ball Lite - with two teams of 5 to 10 players on the pitch trying to score as many points as possible in each 20 minute game. To score a point you have to get the flag from the centre to the opponents base.
You can book Terminator for your next Corporate, Group, Stag/Hen Party now, just call               0141 641 0222       .
