Are you looking for the opportunity to sample the karts and track…..improve your lap times…….or simply to enjoy an informal session with your friends?

Whenever the tracks are not reserved for race meetings they are open for ‘Arrive & Drive’ Practice Sessions. Please book in and race against the clock, or other visitors and compare your detailed computer generated results and times with your friends.

It’s a great way to sample karting if you are thinking of organising an event, or getting some practice in prior to an event! Or it’s a lot of fun if you just want some informal track time with your friends for some hi-speed fun.

Included is:

ScotKart Race suits, full face helmets, helmet liners, and gloves plus neck braces for juniors.
National Karting Association Video safety briefing.
One lap at half speed to familiarise yourself with your kart and the track layout.
10 minutes track time, which may not sound a lot, but is physically and mentally quite demanding when you’re racing along at full speed! It equates to approximately 15-20 laps depending on your lap times, or 6KM of karting.
Supervised by a trained marshal who will offer driving tips.
Detailed computer generated lap time report to compare with your friends.

Notes:

Drivers aged 8-11 need to have completed an ‘Introduction to Karting Course’ to prove they are competent and safe.
Minimum height for adult karts is 4’11” and Kids Karts 4’3” (with inside leg of 24”) to reach the pedals.
All drivers under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, and have their disclaimers countersigned by an adult.
Practice sessions are organised on a time trial basis, they are not race events, and there are no grid starts.
Any drivers who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed on the track.

Any drivers who damage their kart, are black flagged for dangerous driving or ignore a marshals instructions will lose the remainder of their track time, with no refunds.
