It’s a great way to sample karting if you are thinking of organising an event, or getting some practice in prior to an event! Or it’s a lot of fun if you just want some informal track time with your friends for some hi-speed fun.

Included is:

Flag ScotKart Race suits, full face helmets, helmet liners, and gloves plus neck braces for juniors.

Flag National Karting Association Video safety briefing.

Flag One lap at half speed to familiarise yourself with your kart and the track layout.

Flag 10 minutes track time, which may not sound a lot, but is physically and mentally quite demanding when you’re racing along at full speed! It equates to approximately 15-20 laps depending on your lap times, or 6KM of karting.

Flag Supervised by a trained marshal who will offer driving tips.

Flag Detailed computer generated lap time report to compare with your friends.

Notes:

1. Drivers aged 8-11 need to have completed an ‘Introduction to Karting Course’ to prove they are competent and safe, click here for details.

2. Drivers aged 11 years and younger cannot go on track with anyone aged 12 and above. Unless it is a Family session booked and authorised by a head of sales.

3. Minimum height for adult karts is 4’11” and Kids Karts 4’2” (with inside leg of 24”) to reach the pedals.

4. All drivers under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult, and have their disclaimers countersigned by an adult.

5. Practice sessions are organised on a time trial basis, they are not race events, and there are no grid starts.

6. Any drivers who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed on the track.

7. Any drivers who damage their kart, are black flagged for dangerous driving or ignore a marshals instructions will lose the remainder of their track time, with no refunds.
